Purpose

The Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Society will develop, implement and evaluate a culturally relevant and gender-based intervention program for Indigenous youth involved in the criminal justice system. The intervention will include an Indigenous Youth Outreach Navigator whose role will be to provide community supervision support and facilitate access to cultural resources for Indigenous youth. A collaborative service delivery model, involving family members and other community partners, will also be organized to provide the best continuum of care for Indigenous youth in support of their reintegration back into communities.
