Purpose
The funding will support the operation of Drug Treatment Courts (DTCs) in Alberta. This funding will contribute to reduce recidivism rates by supporting eligible offenders in addressing their cycle of problematic substance use and criminal behaviour through the availability of treatment as an alternative to incarceration.
