Purpose

The Centre for Public Legal Education Alberta (CPLEA) will develop legal information materials on Bill C-4, a Bill to amend the Criminal Code creating new conversion therapy-related criminal offences, to reach the LGBTQ2+ community specifically and the wider population generally in Alberta. Specifically, CPLEA plans to use this funding to raise awareness and increase availability of information through a number of activities.
