Purpose

Moving the National Strategic Plan Forward will move forward the specific actions and priorities identified in the "Vision and Mission Statement" of the National Strategic Plan to ensure "all Indigenous peoples and communities have access to fair, equitable, culturally relevant and timely support within the Canadian Justice System." Moving Forward advances several key action items identified in the National Strategic Plan for the Indigenous Courtwork Program and continues to create opportunities for ongoing engagement across Canada to improve service delivery to Indigenous people accessing Courtworker services.
