Purpose
The Trail Development Plan will include the articulation of a clear vision and purpose for the Trail between Calgary and Canmore; identification of long-term social, environmental, and economic benefits; establishment of the governance, ownership, and operations model; evaluation of conceptual alignment options; identification of land needs and designation implications of preferred alignment; articulation of the overall quality and character of the Trail; and confirmation of the level of service and maintenance standards.
