Purpose
Following the JWST ERS and Cycle 1 GO Announcement of Opportunity published on June 14, 2021, the CSA is providing funding via a Grant Agreement to the university to conduct research using the JWST. The project aims to measure accurate masses and formation histories of galaxies in the most massive dark matter halo known in the epoch of reionization. These observations offer the chance to understand the formation of an extreme peak in the primordial density field and the role of environment in the early evolution of massive galaxies.
