Purpose

To increase charities' awareness of regulatory requirements under the Income Tax Act, and to increase the capacities of charities to meet regulatory compliance obligations by improving their accounting practices and procedures with respect to receipting fundraising transactions, maintaining books and records, and improving financial reporting.
