Accounting and audit services - Internal Audit Services (Compliance Audit): Elections Canada requires this service to support the Political Financing and Audit directorate with its responsibility under the Canada Elections Act (CEA) to perform compliance audits and financial audit activities. This process includes auditing the financial returns of registered political entities covering contributions, payments and transfers related to political financing activities. As well as the issuance of partial reimbursements of campaign expenses from the Consolidated Revenue Fund. This also includes information concerning receipts for contributions to candidates, parties, provincial divisions of parties, and electoral district associations, for the purpose of the Income Tax Act (ITA).
